Artwork
It’s always nice to get out and see artwork. It reminds me of a lot of the things I’m doing wrong in my own work. I should shoot more and think less. Focus is great but sometimes you can miss some of the essence that makes art so great.
Of course it also can point out what you’re doing well. I think that I do many things well. Seeing some work let’s me know that focus and finish are also important.
Working for others can slow you down creatively. I think I should think a little more about something more personal.
Finally, I had a trip to Savannah cancelled due to airline engine problems. I’m a bit bummed because I was looking so much to the trip. Trips often refuel me so, I’m already looking to get out of town again soon. How far and where I have no idea. Something will come together.
